Here you will find info and examples of the workshops and classes that we will be hosting over the weekend in Indianapolis. We hope that you will join us!

New this year!

Dungeon Jelly Box

Coming soon...

Dungeon jelly, sometimes called a gelatinous ooze, slime or cube, is a monster that eats adventures and leaves only bones and equipment! You'll be able to make your own box to put your miniatures, dice or other niceties inside of.

Class-goers will create a box with a hinge design made of fluorescent green acrylic, 3d printed parts and screws. All materials will be provided alongside written instructions. This is a relatively quick build and makes a nice keepsake.

Thursday 2pm - 3pm — Embassy Suites Ambassador I
Friday 11am - 12pm — Crowne Plaza: Pen Station C
Friday 2pm - 3pm — Crowne Plaza: Haymarket B
Sunday 11am - 12pm — Embassy Suites Ambassador III

Dragon Dice Tower

Coming soon...

This is a similar design style to our wooden dice tower, but upgraded with velvet inner surfaces, etched outside details and transparent red laser cut acrylic. The final designs will be etched with a dragon motif along two of the faces. Dice towers will have a magnet closer and fold out into a rolling tray. No wood glue—these are ready to roll immediately after the class!

Due to the nature of scheduling and space, we can not offer the Dragon Dice Tower this year. Please look forward to these classes at future GenCon events!

Deluxe Giant D20

Coming soon...

The BIG ONE.... This giant D20 takes up your whole hand! Makes a great desk ornament or when you have to roll where the WHOLE table can see.

Each dice assembles with screws and all materials are provided. This year the laser cut material for these dice will be an etched red glitter. All the pieces come pre-cut but will need to be peeled at class time to preserve their shiny faces.

Friday 1pm - 3pm — Crowne Plaza: Pen Station C

Leather Dice Bag

These two-part leather kits assemble into sturdy and functional dice bags that hold a generous portion of dice. Made from recycled leather, colors and textures vary but include options of tans, browns, blacks, greens, blue and reds.

Thursday 3pm - 5pm — Crowne Plaza: Pen Station C
Sunday 9am - 11am — Embassy Suites Ambassador II

Dice Tower

Our laser cut dice towers start as a flat-pack plywood that students clip and sand themselves before the class instructor guides everyone in assembling them with wood glue. The result is an incredibly sturdy and functional piece that is ready for dice rolling just a few hours later. The front of this tower unfolds into a rolling tray and is closed by a magnet.

There will be a variety of materials used including wood glue, so make sure you are wearing clothes that are alright to be made messy. Wood glue won't come out of clothes! Dice towers will feature a magnet closure and fold out into a rolling tray.
