I originally made this kit in under 5 days for a pair of friends. For their helmets I used cardboard for the curved areas because of the short time-frame. This kit comes with 3D prints custom tailored to the curved areas to give you a beautifully solid structure.
The 3D printed parts will print flat to avoid a HUGE amount of support structure. These flat parts will also allow you to finish pieces independently to avoid sanding in tight corners.
